Why We Believe in
the Power of "Team-Based" Salons
Hong Kong's hair salons are fundamentally a world of individuals.
Techniques are learned by watching, and customer service is acquired through intuition.
This is considered the norm.
However, we believe that people cannot grow in such an environment.
Not just technique, but also the proper conduct required as a person.
At our salon, we teach not just technical skills but also the essential principles of proper conduct as a person, such as greetings, use of language, facial expressions, how to respond, and even the way one walks. While these might seem obvious, in Japan, many staff members in Hong Kong have not had the opportunity to learn these skills.
Starting from zero: team members who seize their dreams.
Some of our staff members come from backgrounds that are not privileged, either academically or financially. There are even those who, despite their passion for the beauty industry, felt unable to dream about a career in it. However, driven by a desire to "change" and "learn a trade," they started from scratch, developed their skills, and are now thriving as stylists, earning between HKD 30,000 to 50,000 per month. This journey is by no means easy. It requires patience and dedication from both the learners and their trainers. Nevertheless, we remain committed to engaging with each individual and nurturing their growth.
Debut as a Stylist in about 3 years on average, and keep refining thereafter.
Staff begin their journey as stylists with no prior experience and usually make their debut within three years. However, their development doesn’t stop there. After debuting, they continue to enhance their technical skills and customer service. We aim for them to become stylists that customers request by name, fostering long-term relationships that last 10 to 20 years, rather than simply chasing temporary trends.
Our customers are the ones who support our growth.
This growth cannot be achieved by our education system alone. It is only possible through the effort and determination of each individual, and most importantly, through the support of our customers, who kindly watch over the development of our staff in Hong Kong.
Good Work Comes from a Good Team.
What supports this system is the philosophy of "working as a team". This may be rare in Hong Kong, but we have created a framework in which staff members support each other to maintain overall quality. Developing people takes both time and cost. It might not be the most efficient approach. Nevertheless, we persist with our training because we believe that “good work can only come from a good team".
What You Want to Become, More Than Your Past.
We value not the past, but who we want to become from here on. Regardless of academic background or experience, we fully support people who have the motivation and determination to take on challenges. We are not perfect, but we are genuinely challenging ourselves every day. We are a salon that sincerely engages with our staff, takes the time to nurture people, and earnestly connects with our customers.
To those who connect with our philosophy.
We warmly welcome those who share our philosophy.
We would greatly appreciate your understanding and support for our efforts.
